Qualification:

· In 1983 – graduated with honors from the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers, majoring in Electronic Computing Machines.

· In 1987 – defended his dissertation and received a scientific degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.

· In 1994 – was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Onboard Computing Devices.

· In 2004 – defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Information security systems based on fuzzy theory” and received a doctorate of technical sciences in the specialty “Information security systems”.

· In 2005 – received the academic title of Professor of the Department of Information Technology Security.

· In 2013 – was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology in 2012 for the system of protection of state information resources.

· In 2014 – Nostrification for Professor and Habilitated Doctor (Information Security Systems) by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Poland).

Scientific interests: information and aviation security: intellectualized information security systems, expertise in information security, information security risks, cryptography, civil aviation protection against cyber threats.
