Department of Computer Information Technology (CIT) is one of the leading departments of the National Aviation University of Ukraine, which has many years of experience in: – qualified specialists training in field of computerized data processing and management systems; – modern information technologies introduction in various fields of science, industry and business, and; – preperation specialists for software development and testing
The academic staff of the department comprises 5 professors, 10 candidates of sciences, associate professors; 3 senior lecturers, 1 assistant and 7 auxiliary staff members.
The first Head of the Department was a candidate of technical sciences, Professor Yatskov M. O. During 2000-2002 the department was headed by the candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Kharchenko O. G. – specialist in the field of aircraft flight data processing software certification and computer networks operation. In 2002 – 2017 the department was headed by the Merited Education Worker of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ziatdinov Yu. K. Since November 2017, the department was headed by graduate of the department, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Kuklinskyi Maksym Volodymyrovych. Since December 2018, the Department is headed by the Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Savchenko Alina Stanislavivna.
